Adebisi Shank hail from Wexford Ireland. This is from The Album of a Band Called Adebisi Shank, their latest, on Richter Collective and Big Scary Monsters. It is blistering, quirky, and intelligent. We’re stumped as to which song to post so here’s the album opener, ‘You Me’.

Pontiak are a psychedelic rock band with a country vibe. Appalachian Mountain-country, where it gets cold, rather than southern-country. This is their self directed video for the song ‘Aestival’ from Maker, one of their 2009 releases on Thrill Jockey.
A new record, Living, is already on the way, due out soon 2010.
