ZS are one of the best experimental music outfits of present day. TERROREYES TV filmed a performance in someone’s backyard during SXSW 2010.
Lead by saxophonist Sam Hillmer, ZS’ 2010 release, New Slaves (The Social Registry), was named Album Of The Year by Tiny Mix Tapes, among other 2010 lists.

SXSW alum and mash-up mastermind Girl Talk released their 12-track album All Day (for free!) today, November 15. Girl Talk’s previous album, Feed the Animals featured over 300 uncleared samples from some of the music industry’s most well-known artists. How is it then that Girl Talk has not been sued for copyright infringement? Find out via this 2010 video of the SXSW music panel “Why Hasn’t the Record Industry Sued Girl Talk?”. In this popular panel, experts consider the changing state of fair use law in music.

Fuck Yeah 2010: CONSTANTS
In 2010, Constants will be recording a new full length, to be produced by Justin K Broadrick (Godflesh, Jesu). Tracking has begun at guitarist/vocalist Will Benoit’s solar-powered recording studio, a ‘historic’ barn deep in the creepy woods of Nowhere CT. The band will be touring the US around the SXSW music festival, and will be heading to Europe in the Spring, and then again in the fall for a full headlining tour in support of their record.
